We met at a nerdy bar in Brooklyn, NY, The Way Station, and started dating in 2015. Since then we’ve adopted two cats, gotten married and had many other adventures.

I’d love to tell you that this is some sort of premeditated plan, an inspiring story of self discovery and whatnot, but it’s probably not. This whole thing started as a joke and we’ve been flying by the seat of our pants. Chaos brought on by inexperience is catapulting our journey.

We left Brooklyn with next to no sailing experience and a bunch of promises from our friends that they would visit us when we figured out what we were doing.
